Fees for 2023/2024

Tuition Fees

Fees are due on or before the beginning of each term.
Day School tuition fees are charged equally over three termly instalments of £8,395 each
Hybrid School tuition fees are charged equally over three termly instalments:
1 Day on-site Programme – £4,280
2 Day on-site Programme – £5,350

Payment is required by direct debit. Please contact the Finance Office for queries on setting up a direct debit.


Portland Place Schools offers four types of scholarship; Music, Drama, Art and Sport. Scholarships can be worth up to 10% of the school fees.

Extras such as public examination fees, books, and theatre and museum trips will be charged at cost. Individual music tuition can be arranged with the Director of Music and is payable on receipt of invoice.

Acceptance Deposit

After an offer of a place is made, an acceptance deposit of £2,000 is required to secure a day school place and £1,000 for a Hybrid School place. This is payable on acceptance and the place will be confirmed upon receipt. The acceptance deposit is returned when the pupil leaves the school.

Notice of Leaving

In all cases a full term’s notice is required in writing to the Headmaster if a pupil is withdrawn from the school. Absence of written notice will incur a charge of a terms fee’s in lieu of that notice.
