Press Release – 2018 – Outstanding GCSE Results at Portland Place School
Portland Place School has celebrated the success of its pupils as they collected their excellent GCSE results today, (23 August).
The leading independent school announces a highly-commendable 92% overall pass rate at 9-4, with significant achievement in the Modern Foreign Languages department which boasts 100% A*-C grades secured in French, Chinese, German and Arabic.
Notably, GCSE Media Studies also records an impressive 100% A*-C grades attained by pupils.
The fantastic results are a fitting start to a newly transformed educational offering at the Marylebone-based school, which has seen a large investment to create an unrivalled centre of creative, academic and sporting and technological excellence in the heart of London. The school has also extended its scholarship programme in a drive to develop talented, local pupils.

Portland Place School is a leading independent co-educational school for children aged 9-16, located directly in the heart of the City of Westminster.
